- Puppies should receive a series of four distemper vaccinations starting at 8 weeks of age through 16 weeks. At 12 weeks your puppy can receive a Rabies vaccine. We also recommend they receive a 2 vaccine series of leptospirosis and lyme disease. If your puppy will be going to grooming, daycare, boarding, dog parks they should also receive bordetella and influenza vaccines.
- Adult dogs: We recommend all dogs after their initial puppy vaccinations receive annual vaccinations for distemper, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. (Don’t worry we have a combination vaccine so your pup only receives one needle).
We recommend bordetella and influenza vaccines for dogs that go to doggy daycare, grooming, boarding, or socialize with other dogs.
Feline vaccinations:
- Kittens: We recommend kittens receive a series of four feline rhinotracheitis/calici virus vaccines (FVRCP) starting at 8 weeks through 16 weeks. At 12 weeks old your kitten can receive a Rabies vaccine. We also recommend all kittens be vaccinated against feline leukemia virus (FELV).
- Adult cats: Should receive an annual Rabies vaccine and FVRCP vaccination every 3 years.
